The human genome studies confirm that there are no definition for race in terms of DNA. So without a definition for "race" what kind of conclusions can you draw about race? You can make all kinds of observations wrt to race in the world of sports and draw conclusions that have meaning to the observant but have no real meaning in terms of the truth. Take for example the observation that very few people of color are found on golf courses and the number of professionals of color making a living from the sport is statistically nonexistent. Could you then conclude that a man of color is very unlikely to win the most prestigious tournament in that sport, for arguments sake, the Masters in Augusta. Do you want to make a bet that a non white will not win that tournament? I don't think I would make that bet. WRT to sex, there are obvious biological differences between the sexes. The problem is that conclusions that can be drawn from measurable differences are filled with all sorts of fears from our primordial past. It is obvious that women have not achieved as much as men since the dawn of civilization. No one can deny that. But from a cosmic perspective, civilization is only a few thousands years old and that we have just barely crawled out from our primordial slime. To draw the kinds of conclusions that are drawn from the samples that we have been treated to on this thread is amusing at best. The Nazi nonsense is still very much with us today. Mary
