I'm also looking at the stock closely from a dollar cost averaging perspective. Given that no one can tell when this economy will turn I figure it will be time soon to average into what I consider the best companies to lead us out of the other side of this slide. When the market does turn back up it often can be fairly rapid leaving those who are panic stricken on the sidelines with that "deer in headlights" feeling. The exact time to be buying is when the news is the bleakest which is exactly why so many miss the bottom. Thus averaging in might not get you the bottom but fairly low prices overall.

I personally am looking to double my position from what I currently hold and will buy 1/3 at a time starting with my first position if we continue to see weakness into next week. Have to have a discipline in this market and stick to that. That works both on the buy side as well as the sell side.

Good investing to all.

P.S. Has anyone heard from Guy Gordon lately? He used to be a very good poster who bought and sold based on stocks in uptrending channels. Im sure his discipline has forced him to exit long ago....
