All, I think the investment community is in capitulation.. next week will see a rally.

I watched a few business shows, looked at mag covers, newpapers, and checked a lot of sentiment on SI and Raging Bull, Yahoo.. the message boards, commentary on CNBC, CBS's site, MSNBC, etc. Its pretty glum, not a single person thought we've hit bottom. "Not yet, perhaps in May.. we're going lower" has been echoed over and over.

Havent seen the p/c ratios or looked at vix readings, but in terms of optimists offering resignation, I haven't seen this for many years.

We have an edge here, a lot of smart people who look at markets and business each day. Among the stocks I've seen bought here, CORV, AVCI, TLAB, TXCC, TNSI, AMCC.. there's a thread of logic to go after leading edge companies with cash, companies that are next year's players whose products offer competitive advantages even when things are slow.

This weekend I'm going to do some research on where non-trading venture capital is placing their bets and post the public companies some like. I'd like to combine that with companies others here like to portfolio a TAnalysis for Shorts and Longs list, to track against averages. Please feel free to post some ideas before Sunday evening, thanks..

Jim
