Top 10 reasons that CSCOs job cuts are healthy.

(Would the anybody care to help complete this list? I want to be sure it is correct).

10. They can cut the jobs of the people in the personnel department who hired the 5% of employees that are inept. Cut out the underling cause of the disease. Very Healthy.

9. The company parking lots will not be so crowded.

8. Cutting employees lowers salary expenses. CSCO will continue to cut 5% every quarter until salary expenses approach zero.

7. These undesirable employees will hopefully go work for JNPR and other competitors who are lack the cunning business acumen of CSCOs management and will foolishly hire them to meet the needs generated by their higher growth rates. Boy is JNPR going to be in trouble.

6. Employees will be abandoning the company in droves as they realize their stock options will never be worth anything. Labelling these employees as undesirable, and pruning them out is an inspired proactive PR move by a forward-thinking management team.

5. The paper on which CSCO stock option certificates is printed is too stiff. It clogs up the toilets when employees flush after wiping with them. If there are fewer employees, there will be less plumbing repair bills.

4. Fewer employees means there are less people who could make bad loans to customers
