Rande Thanks for your wonderful post I am one of those new investors started trading with Ameritrade working with 200,000.00 100,000.00 of which was on margin last year at this time I was up 70,000.00 but I guess lack of expierence and stupity I today sit with a 80,000.00 margin balance and liquidation value of 59,000.00 afraid to sell and afraid not to I was always told do not sell when the market is trading at a all time low but every time I say that a stock can not go lower it does I said that about CSCO at 39.00 now it is at 20.00 I know the mkt will turn but what is your beat advice to someone such as me If the NAS goes to 1500.00 I will have nothing left to ride the next up movement If I cash out now and the mkt goes to 1500 I would have some $$$$ left to hopefully get some of my original investment back for an idea of my holdings they are as follows all under water AMCC ARBA BEAS CSCO GLW HD JDSU JNPR MEDX NOK NT NTAP SEBL SUNW TXN WMT I feel they are all good co but now showing about a 85,000 loss any help from anyone will be appreciated George Schulte
