I think you should question the credibility of the vendors that are blaming
their Comstock feed for their own problems. At my firm we use Comstock
over a T1 and it is as close to bulletproof as I have seen. But when I used
to use Q, I too remember all the problems they blamed SPC for. The funny
things was how all those problems went away when I started using our
proprietary package being run on the same SPC. It also runs my First Alert
quite well.
