I believe you have covered the bases quite well.

Those multi-layer data switches that Kenneth is referring to are legacy SONET equipment. TDM stuff. Hardly worthy of note as it is rapidly becoming obsolete.

I believe I had already covered the former turf a couple of times with Kenneth Phillips who is an ardent proponent of Nortel and a Ciena detractor.
