sounds like Yahoo has valuable technology and services. Any idea what they are worth in market cap if they charged a fee ? Now you get it. The question is not if Yahoo is useful or not (it is). The question is how much revenue can they realistically generate and thus what is the proper market cap... I'd say somewhere around $1-3 billion.
