Yes I would be buying WAC at $4. Why? #1 problem for Warnaco was Calvin Klein mess over last year and they has mended the fences and settled the suit. It was just stupid stupid on both sides and more especially with Calvin himself. I would blame him for this fiasco. They both needed each other to survive in the garment business. Linda was right all along about doing business with discounters such as Walmart. She knew its business would thrive in the slow economy and Calvin didn't want to mess up his brand. Linda has a nose for this business although finance is another matter. Now they have 2 big guns: Harvey Golub and Philip Terenzio to look at the finance side which will be very good for the company. Harvey is more on banking and investment community side. My speculation is they're getting it ready to sell in mid-20's. Philip is a turnaround artist and won't settle for 2nd spot. It's either him taking #1 sport or fix it and move on with 2 years. This has all the classic tailtale signs for a good company coming back. About FOMC. You're right about its business but addiontional 25bp won't hurt either. So I think 50bp is a sure bet and 75bp if Nasdaq is plummeting fast.
