Masuparia Gold (MPG.V)...a "Stock to Watch"
MPG-v...this former gold company divested itself of it's resource properties and decided to cash in on the I-nut craze last year. The company announced it's plan to acquire all the outstanding shares of "Blue Chip Online" Feb. 2000, just before the crack down by the CDNX on resource companies going the .com route. After waiting one full year for regulatory approval and never receiving a yes or a no answer from the CDNX, the management of MPG finally had to abandon this plan and ended up with a 25% equity interest in Blue Chip.
At present the company is relatively debt free with working capital of $850,00, a 25% stake in a dot.bomb and has 28 million outstanding shares. So basically this company is a "shell" with a stake in a dud.
Recently the company announced that it was looking for new opportunities in the resource sector.
Friday MPG traded 1.2 million shares and it's share price was up $.01c to $.05c.
Keep an eye on this "shell" for unusual activity in the coming days. If you notice the company offering stock options, that should be the final tip of the hand that something is clearly going on behind the scenes and an announcement is imminent.
As always do your own DD, regards, Al
