I'm not sure if I understand you. How the motherboard is sitting will effect the messages I'm getting? It is rather loose. If it is a bad battery, couldn't I replace it. I'm embarassed to tell you that I ordered from the place Mike posted a link to, before you had posted those helpful links, sorry. Oh well, overpayed by $24 dollars. I have some Mac using friends that are currently bidding for my newly created system(seriously), so they will get a good deal and I can build myself a dream system from scratch. Again, the way the MB is situated will effect these error messages I'm getting? I don't understand. Bob
