Started By: Outlaw Josey Wales Date: Mar 10, 2001 5:01 PM TOPIC:....Private trading rooms. first off let me explain my room....i have had a private chat room for over a year now...the first year the room was setup by monty frisen a member of si...actualy it was setup by his teenage son and all of us including myself paid $65.00 for the year..all this money went to monty's son . i think there were a total of 25 members. most of the small fee went to having the site hosted and the rest he used for his college fund....2 weeks ago i decided to shut the room down since it wasnt all that secure or stable....so i paid to have a web site built and a chat room..its probably one of the best setups out there and i pay to have it hosted....i am charging $150.00 for the year to help cover my costs to maintain and to have the chat room hosted...i have on average of 2o people in the room during the trading day...those who cant afford the 150.00 will not have to pay and still will be welcomed to the site...my members are very small investors who have been with me for years...most i have called and helped them setup their level 2 screens..i also put out real time news that most of the time is before CNBC puts it out ..BUT MOST of all when i call a trade i call it in advance.... example: DAYTRADE..putting in a order to buy JNPR @62 1/2 ...at that time the bid will be around 62 1/2 so my orders buy or sell are placed in advance..most of the time those who follow me in a trade get much better fills then i do....i do not charge a fee for my calls, news, help or anything else i can do for these people...some are grandmothers working with very small funds being able to buy only 100 shares at a time....many of these people i have helped over the years gain back money they lost being scammed on penny stocks right here on si..I DONT POST any links to my site i only put out my email address if anyone wants to join...at one time i had over 2000 people on si that had me bookmarked and at that time i had the chance to do a pay site and make a huge amount of money off it but that isnt what im about....nuff said now let me voice my opinion about two other fee based private sites: anthony@pacific.com...i have spoken to tony many times on the phone...i never had the pleasure to meet him yet but im sure in the furture we will shake hands...tony and i never once had a falling out...yes he was forced to kick me off his private site for bashing heads with pluvia but i understood that and we remained friends...tony is a stand up guy and i trust him 100%..now let me give my opinion on his private site..yes tony charges a large fee but i never seen him plaster link after link trying to promite or hype his site...tony is probably the best short seller out there no question about it and what he charges IMO is worth every penny and them some....what he offers very few including myself can do...im not a member of his site but we have spoke and i am welcomed there anytime i like if i choose so....its just right now im not setup to short most of his calls...but i highly recommend his site and that is from my heart and seeing and knowing what tony does and is about...tony has never asked me for anyhting nor have i asked anything from we just share respect for each other.. now for the jenny's site...i know do what she does...all i have heard are her picks SUCK..so i was just asking what the hell she offers for 750.00 dollars a month...BUT NO!! she could not answer the question all she could do was piss and moan to si and have me booted off... so in closing be careful with whom you follow on these message boards if you are looking for help...one must always do their own due diligence and not rely on others...but i have and always will be a straight shooter... some of my calls are very good and some are crap but at least i tell it like it is...i dont lie,front run or pump n dump...any member in my room can speak up and agree or disagree..but i make sure that when i do make a call theyn will see my order go in out in advance... spelling not checked:)
