Of course none of this makes sense.
People have many, many differentiating characteristics. Some of them, such as race and sex, are obvious, at least sometimes.
Others aren't so easy to spot. Where you grew up, your musculature, how much money your parents have, how much brains your parents have--all those affect the end product.
And yet, because race and sex are a little easier to spot, those characteristics tend to be assigned all the good and the bad out there. In reality, and certainly IMO, all those factors tend to make up the whole, and assigning individual characteristics to individual factors such as race or sex usually results in a narrowing of the mind.
