Actually, the Cisco bears can only claim credit if they (a) really shorted Cisco and (b) have covered their short positions. In which case, they should **** off and go short something else.

Otherwise, they haven't made the most important decision which is when to cover. If they get that wrong, they will be worse off then the bulls who didn't sell at the top would be if they foolishly sold now.

But if the bears steadfastly refuse to cover after the stock goes up, because they are so sure it's going to $5, then they are as stupid as they sound by claiming to be geniuses now because their downside cost will be unlimited.
