Bernie, apologies for the "sophistry", but people keep asking me to open the Kimono, so I had to somehow respond, but cloud the issue. Once a "system" becomes widely used, it becomes self defeating, thus the variability of the system. Even if it becomes "widely used", the floating points are impossible to lock down.

Misheldo, I cannot sit down here and explain the fed's operation through "repo's" (not "Repro), it will take a good five pages and more than three hours. Take the day off tomorrow anmd do some work, use search engines and try and understand from that how the fed increase or decrease reserves (short term and longer term, namely temporary and permanent reserves.). Then, come here and summarize it in no more than five sentences. (g)
