Mike,

I thnk you need to reflect on CSCOs announcement of up to 8000 layoffs this week. CSCO is a principal driver of the whole tech feeding cycle and I don't think they are going to announce layoffs at the bottom. Both INTC and CSCO stated that there is no sign of a recovery. CSCO stated that US woes are spreading overseas.

The bottom will be reached when the "inventory correction" story is replaced by a much scarier "tech bubble deflation business adjustment" story.

We I get to buy at my prices, none of us will feel as confident about buying then as we do now and some of us will not buy. Those that step up will announce the buys, but will not feel it is their place to urge others to the same.
