It is always like that when the Nasdaq was at 5000+ prediction were that the Nasdaq will hit 6000+. Now the Nasdaq is down 60% predictions from the bears that it will hit somewhere between 1200 to 1800 (1000 is a new low I have not seen before). The problem is that fear is more difficult to reverse than exuberance. The next few trading days will tell us where the market is going. Anyway, the best time to invest is when nobody wants to invest, and the best time to sell when buying is at its peak. I think we will see a relief rally soon, but it will not last as usual. In a bull market corrections are brief in period and in a bear market rallies are brief in period.
