Yes it makes some sense, but....

When you say, "The projections by each company for each company were as if they were the only ones out there so the demand projections were greatly exagerated", it seems pretty naive of the managements of the companies, if true.

I was surprised that the market sold off like it did in response to the employment stats, people should know that the employment numbers are at best coincident and usually lagging indicators, not leading indicators. If AG waits for the slowdown to show up in the employment numbers, he will even more definitely be behind the curve, and further behind than he appears to be already.
