I think it is the boomers who are entering retirement (like me and the wife) who would need to panic first , but I have no plans to dump everything....yet.... I have been reading about the terrible saving rate in the US....the friends we hang with DO NOT have tons of dept and ARE investing for the long term.... I read somewhere that the numbers reported ONLY include things like bank accounts when figuring the savings rate NOT investments, 401K etc. Do you know if this is accurate???...How does the government (AG) measure savings?? Peace
