By gosh I was talking with JKG this morning and darn if didn't plagiarize my lecture to him. I was saving it for this thread. That's the last time I'll take any of his collect calls. :-)

But has anyone noticed the large number of what I would call copycat press releases concerning layoffs and non paid time off.I have noticed that companies that are in no need of cutbacks are making these kind of announcements. CSCO's announcement that will lay off 16,000 people will been copied by about 10,000 employers (on a much smaller scale). This will lead to a recession that no amount rate cutting will cure.
