There is something to the phenomena where businesses and people feel the need to continually promote themselfs, plaques on the wall, big trophy cases, business cards with all these letters behind their names, etc. They proclaim their expertise, and it looks like they are the masters at what they do, yet from my experience, it's the exact opposite.

I have run into many people / businesses over the years that do just that. They have to always tell you how good they are, always boast about all their training, successes, money, all the charities they donate to, material goods they own, etc, etc.

Yet when I have observed these people / businesses who thump their chests, it's almost as if they have to prove something to someone, maybe themself?. I can't really explain it, but what I found in most cases they are not very good at what they do.

There are businesses that do very little if any advertizing. The reason is they provide such good services or products that do the selling for them. They don't beat their chests saying how great we are. They let their record speak for itself, and never brag.

Most experts are not experts. There are so few experts in the world, no matter the field.

Observations from a Cheeky Kid.
