Clearly you have never been through the process of working with many different charting applications and data services over the course of a trading career -- discovering the strengths, weaknesses and limitations of each. Certainly you have not met with various vendors of such services; inquired about their technical infrastructure; compared notes with other users. Apparently you have no value to add to this very particular discussion. The subject of data and charting consumes many users time on SI and elsewhere. Some vendors have user sponsored threads on SI where hardly anything but moaning can be found. Its not productive and alternatives exist. Passing on positive experiences on products or services that deliver value, and for which we receive no remuneration, can hardly be called advertising.
