GSM failed to recover above January lows 207.61.23.99 This may be a broader representation with the communications chipmakers more represented than the PC-memory chips (INTC, RMBS, MU, AMD, TXN) in the SOX. The telecom-related chip makers topped out in September so their correction or bear market has been shorter but just as brutal.
