Walmart partnership will significantly bolster Amazon's stock price and prospects. I haven't studied the deal but it might be the white knight has rescued Amazon, which is a tremendously valuable global franchise and now a household word. The pure nets just can't make it on their own. They will be taken out in some way or another or they will go out of business. All the best ones will be merging as AOL already already has (ironically by buying TW when their stock was higher). Follow the leader.
