This thread was a real hoot to read tonight. It's kind of like watching a horrific car crash happening, knowing the correct way to make the accident not happen, watching as the driver locks up the brakes and skids into it anyway, then being real glad you're not in that car. I know what I'd be doing right now, it's not happening, and Jeff's not going to have a very fun week. But please cut him some slack for not being up and working on it on the weekend. He saw what keeping brutal hours did for me and is sharp enough to take that lesson seriously. The worst part is squelching the urge to try to fix this mess and see how much of the damage can be undone. Management has had the opportunity to observe how this should be handled, as the numerous issues that flared up at the same time here are not new on their own, but I doubt that they'd remember much about the previous situations aside from their critique of my communication skills (my too-blunt nature). This is going to be a new one for Jeff. <sigh>
