I usually don't expect or even care to capitalize on bounce in a downtrend... Since there is no way to determine how long a downtrend will be, you are right. . . it is wise to not try to guess. That could be, as many now know all too well, a costly mistake. And for those who would believe that the largest brokerages and investment banks pull the strings of these markets . . . what is their target low? And what similarities are there to the target high of a year ago this week? It would seem that after "sufficient capitulation", someone gives the "all-clear", but it will surely be whispered. Have you sufficiently capitulated? And what comes after "Uncle!"?
