What indicators are you looking at... ..that cause you to make such a dire prediction? The excesses have all been on the upside to date - the market indices are now returning to trend as they always do. The Japanese economy has some structural problems, agreed, resulting from a failure to address the issue of non-performing debt, but nothing like that exists in the US.
