I'm curious if this chip might be a special request for Unicom (and applicable for 3rd world applications in general, like India)? These are clearly markets thart Q is wise to address from a growth perspective....

Recent China papers translated by Laodeng and Ramsey dwell on decision for buildout based on superiority of 95a for providing basic services to China's masses... This would reduce handset costs for this market. Support for removable Universal Identity Module (R-UIM) cards is included - mandatory for China....

Agree that releases regarding multimode 6xxx would be most welcome... <g>
