I hope you are right but the housing figures bothered me yesterday in this very affluent age the reality was houses were not increasing but decreasing in some area's.

Looking at retail figures when one thinks of cost control the figures aren't showing cost control is working.
When you can't squeeze costs anymore you have either over estimated potential or the potential isn't there.

I guess the FED has to do a few coupon passes or something as the much of the USA is looking for coupons to use at their local market.
