That's why I think that it is impossible to protect single species. The only meaningful solution is protection of habitats and ecosystems. This patch quilt protection practice just won't work. It's too much like protecting human rights by protecting individual organs of a person's body.

We'll protect the brain, but not the liver.
We'll protect the toes, but not the heart.

And so on...
