Hi Norm: If you have been reading this thread since '96 you have seen me go from a cheerleader to a critic because of what I see as poor management.
Management recently has gotten the company in such a mess that it would be cheaper for a potential licencee to buy the whole company than to pay the fees if they intent to produce in volume. I am totally amazed how Orbital has done what they have to the company - they have zero credibility, I am at a loss for a good word to describe the situation - debacle, does not do it justice.
If GM or any other auto maker were to see a use for OCP a $6 or $7 price per ADR would be very attractive.
The only way I see to avoid this would be for the directors to make changes in management to try and give the company back some credibility and direction.
We do not know the reasons behind the Siemens pull out, it is very strange but it could be that they just did not want to deal with Orbital in the future, for whatever reason. Now if you want to speculate as to what that reason may be - that opens up a whole new can of worms.
