NEW YORK, March 12 (Reuters) - Wit Soundview analyst Jordan Rohan cut his price target on Internet and media giant AOL Time Warner Inc. (NYSE:AOL - news) to $60 from $80 Monday, citing a deteriorating economic and advertising picture, but maintained his strong buy rating on the company.

NEW YORK, March 12 (Reuters) - Don't expect the gloom to lift any time soon as U.S. stocks marked the Nasdaq's record high a year ago on Monday, slumping to a 27-month low, with a resilient U.S. economy knocking the wind out of investor hopes for a deep interest rate cut.
