Anyone in the Detroit are have a spare bedroom, room for rent, cheap apartment etc ?

... rumor has it that a former software engineer who left his day job & took his 401K money & became a Mad Max Margin Daytrader is now on the verge of being homeless...while empathy is called for in some situations; it's not when it's the 3rd time in the same damn boom cycle that it's happened... and it's surely not as if he wasn't warned innumerable times.

Personally; I'm just glad that he doesn't work at the post office....

PS Metal; was that you (VBG) ?

... well; at least you're not margined in tech.

I'm beginning to think that there was a huge margin call liquidation & the fundies just stood aside while the damage was done - maybe we'll see a huge gap up in some of the tech names tomorrow as the funds step in to scoop up the margin call damage - it wouldn't surprise me.

Naz is probably in an area that one can begin to "Average In" at - with the only caveat & wildcard being JAPAN.

If Japanese Banks liquidate US bonds & equitites - I dont think we've got a handle on the short-term; as to how low we could go...

Many have failed to realize what foreign investment means to this market & the derivative bubble collapse draws nearer at each new level down... JAPAN is the catalyst to the Gold spike...

It's going to get real interesting...

ALL DOW 30 Stocks closed in the Red.... as in "Red Alert"
