To this day, I always find it almost impossible not to be happy when listening to the Boys (although I do prefer harder stuff, especially Led Zepellin). But they could harmonize; they were especially good early on when a young Brian still had a voice and could do a falsetto.

However, I saw that Brian special last year or in 1999. He rounded up about six singers (including Bruce Johnstone) and some ex-Eagle (barf) to do "In My Room". The Beach Boys never sounded as good.

I just think that Love should pack it in. With no Wilson brothers left in the band, whatever he's selling isn't the Beach Boys. Few things sillier than "old rockers" anyway (Stones and Aerosmith, especially). Have to give credit to Zeppelin for axing the band after Bonham died.
