I watch animal planet while I surf SI. Great show for animal lovers and kids of all ages.

As for how to milk a whale, that qualifies as a true zen koan. The real answer would, of course, have to be demonstrated experientially. But here are some more banal suggestions:

1.Under water.

2. You need a baby whale.

3. A very large breast pump with specially designed nipple adapters.

4. A milking submarine machine! Preferably a yellow one.
