cheeky yes, doubleclick cookies as spyware is a common hit. i just scanned w98se and found one and then installed ad-aware here on w2000 and found another. that'd be something if it was doubleclick 'calling home' that has been setting off your alarm. the lavasoft freeware is well done, don't you agree? :) mark
