Not long before this five Asian gang members brutally raped a white teenage girl as part of their gang initiation. They openly admitted to the police that they did it because she was white. Yet where is the media outrage at this admittedly race-motivated hate crime? Just imagine the hew and cry if the girl had been Asian or Black and the perpetrators young white punks. Is she, an innocent young girl, any less worthy of our concern than Matthew Shepard, the best-known homosexual? Is the one any more or less a "hate" crime than the other?
