I don't think that you are serious. No one is sure what will happen in the next year, the market could rebound as swiftly as it sank: in fact, it has already done so, more or less, a couple of times in the past year. I am a long term investor, I am happy enough to wait things out.

What is certain is that this is based on declining confidence consequent upon disturbing economic news, such as disappointing profits, huge layoffs, and the meltdown of the dot.coms. All of these things have nothing to do with Bush. It is arguable that they have little to do with Clinton, eithr, but not that they are Bush's fault. The economy was shifting well before the election........
