Capital Gains tax hits, will they trigger a further selloff? Aren't any of you in my boat with a major LT Capital Gain tax hit as I sold my CSCO during the downdraft? Now I have to 'face the music' and pay the taxes which will require a further liquidation of my already decimated portfolio. I've got to believe this scenario also contributed to the beginning of last years selloff and is just about to repeat during the next 4 weeks. I'm not to optimistic we've bottomed until tax season ends. Comments?
