"I’ve never met a real social-welfare state leftist who could answer the following question without having to think real hard: ‘Aside from the murder and genocide, what exactly don’t you like about National Socialism?’"

Whoever wrote that has certainly not met many social-welfare state leftists. I suspect that most would answer, with no thought at all, that they object to the concentration of state power in the hands of an individual or small group with no effective constraint.

Hitler and the Nazis were resolutely pro-gun- control, pro-speech-code and anti-religious

This means nothing. The Taleban destroy statues and persecute women, does this make all Muslims misogynistic barbarians? The religious right is every bit as "pro-speech code" as the social-welfare state leftists, are they also suspected Neo-Nazis? Radical feminists are as opposed to pornography as the born-agains, are they the same thing?

The beliefs of Margaret Sanger are irrelevant to any discussion but one on the beliefs of Margaret Sanger. Many people today - including many conservatives - agree with Margaret Sanger's idea that birth control is a good thing. That doesn't mean they agree with her on anything else. If I oppose murder and so does the pope, does that make me a Catholic?

Idiocy. Supreme idiocy.
