Hi Lindy,

Glad to hear you are doing well outside your investments -- and don't forget -- outside them is where it matters most.

Yes but we gather here to discuss those investments. Like you and everyone else I've suffered great loss in that regard. But what I lost is past gains. And so have you I expect. We rode the volatility up (believing we were brilliant investors) and now we are riding the volatility down. We overshot by far on the upside and now it feels like we are overshooting the downside. In this age of instant information folks live by the moment. The economy is unsure so everyone is selling, when the economy is looking better everyone will be buying. It will happen in the blink of an eye, imo.

So yes this is volatility, much greater than we are used to but still volatility -- at it's strongest.

BTW from this point on, I'm riding it out as well. The prices of our gorilla favs are fair based on traditional and conservative valuation techniques. And that's what really will matter over time. This correction back to normal valuations is a blessing in disguise for tekboy and his peers but it's difficult for most others.

Hang in there and enjoy every day and dance, dance, dance. Rory
