"Long term prediction: MSFT grows EPS at an average of 8% per year for the next 14 years" I just try to predict the next 14 minutes or hours and run into problems so how can you predict the next 14 years. Do you know how silly you sound to someone who has been investing a very long time. The main difference in your investing and mine is I'm not limited to only position plays, I also use swing and day trade plays. You don't mention money management and cutting losses, or perhaps you prefer to compound a mistake by dollar cost averaging. Frog
