I would think the logical step for NSU would be a merger with Semafo (a real underrated outfit with strong financials, and the adjoining Segala deposit). Combining Segala with Tabakoto would synergize the two into an outstanding and rather large open pit producer, and SMF has the money and backing to develop it. It makes so much sense to me, that it probably won't happen. Nevsun days of going it alone should be over IMO. If we get it, hang on to the new shares because they too will be part of the food chain. If someone else who is substantial takes NSU, jump all over SMF.

West Africa has some perfect deposits for the current price environment: low capexs and quick payoffs, short life but low cost, and nobody has been paying attention among investors.
