Also, here is some interesting info: 09:11 ET Cisco Systems (CSCO) 18 13/16: -- Update -- Needham upgrades from HOLD to BUY with a $23 price target. 31% long-term EPS growth rate from last year's GAAP base is reasonable and the shares now offer sufficient potential gain to the $23 target to merit the BUY rating. 09:05 ET Motorola (MOT) 15: Company to reduce its global workforce by approx. 7,000 additional positions in an attempt to reducen costs in its wireless handset business. 09:00 ET Internet Security : Bear Stearns' Ripple Effect notes the move by Cisco (CSCO) to enter the security market; though Bear believes that CSCO does not have the best technology, its end-to-end suite of products might be attractive to existing Cisco networking customers and could gain traction as the market rebounds; sees Cisco as a significant competitive threat to incumbents Check Point (CHKP) and Internet Security (ISSX).
