the political component of all these issues ---------- More so than any other criteria, the continued success of China's economy is now inexorably tied to the US... No doubt the effects of the weakening US economy provide China a not so gentle reminder of this fact. I expect bluster and rhetoric versus tangible retaliation from China regarding issues that have been the source of conflict over decades and multiple administrations...
