It's nice that gold is pulling back, the day before the BOE auction. Once again, England will have another chance to sell gold at the low for the week and invest the cash in equities or currencies, at the high for the week.

Who says that government bureaucrats don't know what they are doing? <g>

OTOH, they are cutting auctions back from 25 tons to 20 tons. I wonder if they are doing that so that they can stretch out auctions for additional years, and thusly try to drive the price of gold down?
