LUMINEX securities are not traded in the market. To the best of my knowledge Luminex is a privately owned company. The extent of BDX interest in the FlowMetrics system, if any, is not known at this time. But I like to examine the value of "recycled and recombined" technologies which result in a new product. Seems to me that much of the risk and probably some of the reward associated with a "new" product is not present in such an investment vehicle. A couple of years ago I invested, without notable success, in Forest Labs who reformulate generic drugs with their own "time release" process. Can you direct me to the location of the article you found on "detection arrays"?
