An unfortunate decision on his part. I'm sure he gave it his best.. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't we will probably never know. However, 'giving it your best' is the excuse you give to grade schoolers, not to professional money men (and women). but in this market, nothing seems to work This is simply not true. There are people doing well and companies hitting 52 week highs. Bob is having a lousy 6 months but others are not. If he was a really good market timer, he should have rotated into non-tech instead of plunging back into tech all guns blazing. Of course that would have required foresight/hindsight but isn't that what market timers claim they have?
