Patrick,

One of my co-workers had temporary complications from his surgery that made me want to rethink it. The first was extreme pain in his eyes. That doesn't bother me as I've experienced severe pain from severely broken leg which was drilled for 6" of screws.

The other complication was that one of his flaps lifted up the night following his procedure. That does bother me. However, it didn't detach and it settled back into place and healed as expected. He is very pleased by the results and is glad he did it. I know other people who have had it and have also been pleased by the results.

If I reschedule I'll probably request an early morning appointment to allow more time for healing before I go to sleep. Also I had planned to go up to Montreal by myself. If I reschedule I'll have a friend come up with me just in case things go wrong.

The deposit issue was unfortunate and surprising because everything else about the company and Montreal facility is first class.

Regards,
Steve
