I am not certain about Nortel's lawsuit coverage. There is also the distinction to be made between the ongoing costs of legal defense versus the actual cost of a settlement. Maybe this topic will be discussed in the upcoming annual report, 10-k, etc.

Having said all of that, how is that Cisco has not had any lawsuits as of yet for their multiple interviews, press releases, etc? Cisco must have a better system for forecasting than does Nortel.
